Pigs, cosmetics, and baby formula.  Your probably wondering what they have in common or what pigs have to do with  baby formula and cosmetics .Well, scientist are saying that mucus lining in the stomach  of  pigs could be what scientist have been waiting for. With plenty of sources of "mucins" being considered for use as broad-spectrum anti-viral agents to supplement baby formula and for use in personal hygiene and other consumer products to protect against a range of viral infections.

Have you herd the term Global warming and how its destroying our North and South Pole,Well that might be true.With the seas warming up and the ice melting polar bears have to swim great distances to find food. Because of this Greg MacGillivray directed a movie called To the Arctic.It's a journey  into the lives of a mother polar bear and her two seven-month-old cubs as they navigate the changing Arctic wilderness they call home.The mom swam 9 days to find food for her cubs, and it comes out  this Friday.

Facts:Males are called Bulls Females are cows. males can grow up to 21ft. Females can grow to less than 20ft,The largest recorded killer whale was 31ft. Orcas (killer whales)  live about as long as humans, males to about 60 and females sometimes into their 80's.

Good afternoon,
Here are the latest news updates.On April 23rd  in the North Pacific, east of the Kamchatka Peninsula near the Commander Islands,scientist  found  the first all white albino adult orca (killer whale). They call him Iceberg after they saw his 2-meter dorsal fin break the surface.He is a male,and he appears to be living a normal and healthy life.Iceberg has been found in a pod or small group of twelve.

Tip: To tell a male from female look at the dorsal fin, the males fin is much bigger while the females is smaller.      Female(Bottom)
